George Willard Obituary

George Willard passed away on January 7, 2026, in Sedalia, Missouri, at the age of 61. Born on May 23, 1964, in Tacoma, Washington, he was raised in the Tacoma area and spent his final years in Sedalia.

A graduate of Washington High School in 1983, George went on to serve his country with distinction in both the U.S. Army Reserve and the U.S. Marine Corps. Though he did not pursue a formal degree, he completed several post-secondary courses in computer programming.

He is survived by his children: David Lundquist, Rebecca Spencer, and Lisa Ellis (Jeremy), all residing in Indiana; and by his stepson Kevin Smith of Alaska. George was also a grandfather to five grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Donna and brothers Kevin, Charlie, Keith, Quentin, and Aaron. He was predeceased by his parents.

Interment to take place at Tahoma National Cemetery.
