Port Barre – A Christian Mass will be held for George Allen Wyble on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Fr. Clint Trahan will be the celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of mass in the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre.
George, age 62, a resident of Port Barre, entered into eternal rest on July 8, 2023, in Opelousas General Health System with his family by his side.
George is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Missy Bazar of Port Barre, sons, Dusty Bazar of Grand Prairie, Jason Macip and wife, Heather of Port Barre, and Kyle Bazar of Port Barre, sisters, Faye St. Amand and husband Ronald, and Jeannie and husband, Bobby Snyder of Youngsville, brothers, Art Mason and wife, Amanda of Port Arthur, TX and Dennis Lavergne of Texas, five grandchildren, Hunter Bazar, Logan Pollock, Madeline, Dacota, and Bre'Anna Macip, niece, Ashley Myers, (Dustin Lafleur) of Grand Prairie, godchild, Shelby Metrejean.
George is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Wyble and Flo Domingue, Maw Maw and Paw Paw Johnson, brother, Bobby Dubus, aunt, Norma Berry.
