Barnabus Lynden Dupre, affectionately known as Lynden, was born on August 2, 1953, in Opelousas, Louisiana. He departed this world on March 4, 2026, at Tri Community Nursing Home in Palmetto.
Lynden is survived by his loving family, including his sons, Kevin Dupre and his wife, Meagan of Texas, and Kristopher Dupre of Arkansas; his daughter, Nikki Dupre Darby along with her husband Christopher of Washington. Lynden's legacy also lives on through his seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Lynden's cherished memories remain intertwined with those of his two beloved sisters, Beryl Cormier of Opelousas and Norma Schexnayder of New Iberia, who together recall a lifetime of shared experiences that shaped their family bond.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chapman Dupre and Mary Della Dupre, who nurtured his spirit, and his brother, Craig Dupre, whose memory continues to be honored by those who loved them both.
Lynden will be greatly missed and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
