Alvin Dupre Obituary
He was a life-long resident of New Orleans, La. and was educated in the New Orleans Public School System. Alvin was a dedicated employee for Churchill Downs Fairgrounds for over 50 years. He retired as Head of Maintenance for the Fairgrounds.
Alvin was proceeded in death by his wife Mary Dupre, his mother and father Ida and Charles Dupre, his siblings Charles Jr., Burnell, Merlin and Betty Dupre, Shirley Brown, Beverly Galle and Jasie Demery. Family and friends of the community and Churchill Downs Fairgrounds are invited at attend the Burial Service on March 7, 2026 for 11:00 am at St. Louis #3 Cemetery, 3421 Esplanade Ave. Arrangements by Rhodes Funeral Home 1020 Virgil St. Gretna, La 70053.
