Georgeann Weitnauer, 89, our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully April 10, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado.
Georgeann was a woman of quiet strength and deep devotion, who dedicated her life to her family and to serving others through her faith. She touched many hearts with her kindness and grace, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. During her career, she served with pride as an executive secretary to several Air Force Generals at Lowry AFB, a role she carried out with professionalism and heart. But her greatest joy came from being part of her children’s and grandchildren’s lives, celebrating their accomplishments and cheering them on every step of the way. Georgeann will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on in those she held closest.
Georgeann is survived by three of her daughters and their families: Marie Lanette (Bradley David) Six; Laura Lee (Mark Wesley) Bryant; Hope Carol (Stephen Clyde) Larsen; grandchildren, Danielle K. Lewis, Sasha T. Bohon, Brigitta M. Rannenberg, Leah M. Hooper, John W. Hooper, Emma R. Hooper, Jessica E. Larsen, Megan A. Larsen, Kathryn R. Larsen and Ellyott E. Larsen; great-grandchildren, Serenity R. Bohon, Freya M. Rannenberg, Francis L. Rannenberg and Flora M. Rannenberg; and sister, SydneyMae Staley. She was preceded in death by her husband John William Weitnauer, daughter, Cindy Ann Lewis, and son-in-law Mark Allen Lewis.
