Georgene Agnes Pultz
June 23, 1941 - September 20, 2024
With profound sadness we announce the passing of Georgene "Jean" Pultz, a loving inspiration and devoted mother.
Born in Oelwein, IA in 1941 to George and Agnes Lane, she was one of five children. She was raised in Stillwater, MN and there met her husband, Laverne Pultz. Due to his service in the Army, Jean and her new family moved to various parts of the country -as well as a stint in Germany- until finally settling in Ft. Lupton, CO. Laverne preceded her in death.
She was a devoted mother to Sharon (David) Watson, Patti (Richard) Chamberlain, Steven Pultz, and Karen, who preceded her in death; cherished grandmother to Randy (Erin) Pultz, Christopher (Kimber) Chamberlain, Tonyia (Jason) Watson, and Jonathan (Cece) Chamberlain; and loving great-grandmother to Tyler, Benjamin, Mikie, Andie, Emma, Abbie, Oliver, and Allyssiea.
She embodied her fierce love of and faith in Jesus Christ, spreading kindness and generosity to all she encountered. She cared for His earth, cultivating beautiful gardens, always abundant in nourishing food and breathtaking flowers. She cared for His creation by loving all animals. Not only did she make sure the neighborhood birds were always fed and watered, but she also regularly visited and donated to the Wildlife Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, CO. She loved this sanctuary so much, she contributed a plaque in her late daughter, Karen's, name. She cared for His people by donating regularly to Christian causes and shared her faith through scripture with everyone she encountered.
She had a zest for life that remained steady until the very end. At any point in the year, you'd find mom taking her daily walk through town. When the weather was good, mom could be found at Colorado National Speedway, cheering on her favorite racers. Everyone knew to look out for "Jeanie." She also found joy in attending her local auction, purchasing puzzles and unique trinkets that she generously shared with family and friends.
Though devastated that she is no longer with us here on Earth, we are elated that she is now reunited with our sister Karen and look forward to all of the signs we know she'll send us until we meet her in Heaven.

I'll miss you grandma one of my favorite memories is when me and cece decided to surprise grandma at colorado national speedway by showing up randomly another thing
If mom wasn't near grandma most surely was ready to reprimand and praise she played a part of raising all the kids in the family
