(nee Lemler)
Georgie found peace, reuniting with her beloved husband Tom, in eternal life on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the age of 78.
Loving mother of Cherice Thomka, DeAnna (Michael) Milsted and Jennifer (Matt) Anderson. Dear "Grandma Georgie" of Loren (Jessica)Thomka, Joshua (Bobbi) Hopper, Taylor (Katherine)Thomka, Anthony (Emma) Milsted, Ella Milsted, Abigail Thomka, Shae Anderson and Tejay Anderson. Proud great-grandma of Noah, Finley, Harper, Jaycee, Camden, Aurora, Kipton, Kolton, and Mary Katherine. Dear sister of Jerry (Lynn) Lemler and Scott (Kelly) Shaw. For 35 years, Georgie dedicated her professional life to the New Berlin Eisenhower High School community where she served as the Administrative Assistant to the Principal. Her role extended far beyond administrative tasks; she touched the lives of staff and students alike with her kindness and dedication. Georgie's skillfulness as an IT Specialist was equally notable, showcasing her versatility and passion for staying at the forefront of educational needs.
Georgie's interests painted the picture of a life rich with simple pleasures and deep connections. Georgie combined her love for floral arranging with a role as an instructor at WCTC. She and Tom loved to travel to Arizona. They were drawn repeatedly to its warmth for their favorite getaway. Her passion for cutting her grass and basking in the sunshine brought her immense joy, as did hosting gatherings by the pool, affectionately termed "Breakfast on the Veranda."
Her heart of gold was evident in every aspect of her life. Georgie never complained, choosing instead to approach each day with a smile and an unwaveringly positive outlook. The biggest sense of humor one could ever encounter, she had the rare ability to lift spirits and spread cheer effortlessly. Georgie's desire for her family to carry on the traditions she and Tom cherished was a hallmark of her nurturing spirit. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, embracing every moment with them and instilling the values of love, laughter, and the importance of family.
Georgetta's family expresses their sincere gratitude to Dr. Robert's team, the exceptional staff at Comfort Keepers, including Gina, Jen, and Emma, as well as the staff at The Woods Assisted Living Facility for their compassion and kindness.
