Georgette was born on November 21, 1958 in Trenton NJ. She was preceded in death by her parents Green and Garlene Davis, sister Thenie Davis and brother Maurice Davis.
Georgette attended the Trenton Public School System and was_ a graduate of Trenton Central High School (class of 1976). She also attended Mercer County Vocational School where she attained her Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma.
She was employed by Edna Mahan Correctional Facility as a Corrections Officer before becoming a nurse. After completing nursing school, she worked at Trenton State Prison for many years. Georgette also worked at the Bo Robinson Assessment and Treatment Center. She was most recently, employed by the Rescue Mission of Trenton and Bayada Nursing Agency.
Georgette leaves to cherish her memory four sisters; Lillian Jackson (Henry) Eastampton, NJ, Sheila Arthur, Wilmington, DE, Thelma Patterson, Westampton, NJ and Minnie Davis, Trenton, NJ; one brother, Joseph Davis (Tracy); several nieces, nephews and close cousin/friend Tracy Goss.
Funeral service will be 11am Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
