Georgette E. Dooley

Georgette Edna Dooley, 89-year-old rural Vinita resident, passed away late Monday, December 15, 2025, at her home, with her loving husband by her side. She was born on March 21, 1936, in Fall River, Massachusetts to Leo and Eleanor (Bouchard) Dupre. Georgette married Cecil Eugene "Gene" Dooley on September 4, 1954, in Fall River, Massachusetts, they had celebrated 71 year of marriage. Georgette worked as a registered nurse in Missouri medical facilities many years. She and Gene loved to go hiking in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, panning for gold in the desert and RVing across the United States.
The family includes her husband Gene of the home; daughter, Mary Jane Janzen and husband Jay of Vinita; her son Cecil E. Dooley, Jr. and wife Dewanda of Maynard, Arkansas; a sister, Jackie; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her parents, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
