Mrs. Georgia Ann Walker

On the morning of March 5, 2026, the angel of death closed the eyes of our beloved. She was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Mary Frances Womack Adams, born on May 30, 1971.

Georgia was educated in the Pittsylvania County School System and graduated from Dan River High. She was last employed at Dorda Foods in Reidsville, North Carolina. She was a member of Baptist Christian Fellowship Ministries. Georgia was a loving wife, mother sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will forever be missed.

In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by five children, Jeremy, Jessica, and Brian Adams, Cordero Walker and Timothy White: two sister, Rosemary Oliver and Elaine Davis.

Georgia leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Frankie Walker; her son, Frankie Walker; her granddaughter, Jakira Walker; two sisters, Della M. Stone and Teresa A. Adams; two brothers, Richard V. Womack and Albert W. Adams, all of Danville, Virginia; four aunts, Sara Womack, Bessie Womack, Flossery Royal and Frances Adams; an uncle, Charlie Adams; seven nieces, Debbie, Kim and Ashley Adams, Elaine T. Davis, DeSha Stone, Karnesha Gubb and Renee Womack; eight nephews, Lamont, Lorenzo, Montae, Dontae and Shahem Adams, Dominic Stone, Rico and Richar Womack; special friends, LaTarsha Dixon, Christy McLaughlin, Judy Totten, Michelle Brandon and her beautician, Joann Saunders; and a host of relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the chapel of J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment, 447 Old South Main Street, Danville, Virginia.

Dr. William Dixon, Pastor of Baptist Christian Fellowship Ministries, Eulogist. Elder Brian Witcher, Baptist Christian Fellowship Ministries, Presiding. Interment will be at Highland Burial Park, 3059 North Main Street, Danville, Virginia.

A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
