Georgie Holcomb Obituary
Georgie Holcomb, age 77 of New Castle passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025. He was a member of the Sulphur Baptist Church and was a Correctional Officer. Georgie loved golfing, playing pool & was a UK Fan. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Georgie was the son of the late Gayle Clayton & Margaret Lorene (Shannon) Holcomb and was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Lee Holcomb.

Wife: Mary Holcomb of New Castle
Daughters: Lori Holcomb of Louisville and Stacey Holcomb of New Castle
Son: Georgie Wayne Holcomb of New Castle
Sister: Peggy Nutgrass of Bedford
Brothers: Danny Gayle Holcomb (Betty) of New Castle and Ricky Holcomb of Campbellsburg

Funeral Service: 11 AM Friday, December 12, 2025 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
Interment: New Castle Cemetery
Memorial Contributions: Alzheimer’s Association, Louisville Chapter-Memorial, 3703 Taylorsville Rd., Suite 102, Louisville, KY 40233-9901.
Visitation: 9 AM until service time on Friday at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
