Agnes Tingle Obituary
Agnes Susan (Ricketts) Tingle, age 100 of Bedford passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025. She was a member of the Poplar Ridge Baptist Church and was a Co-Owner of Tingle Grocery in Bedford for 15 years. Agnes was a very adventurous lady and loved to quilt, play cards & enjoyed cooking. She was the daughter of the late Elias B. & Virginia (O’Nan) Ricketts and was preceded in death by her husband, R.S. Tingle; two sons, Gary Wayne Tingle & Russell Shelton Tingle, Jr.; three sisters, Anna Mae Thompson, Marjorie Wallace & Dorothy Brierly and seven brothers, Woodrow, Abie, Willie B. Logan, Charles, Jimmy & Robert Ricketts.

Son: James Rodney Tingle (Robbin) of LaGrange
7 Grandchildren: Dwain Purvis, Darren Purvis, Marsha Purvis, Hope Sizemore, Michael Justin Higbie, Susan Webb & Anthony Mashburn

Visitation: 11 AM until service time on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 3 PM on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
Interment: New Castle Cemetery
