Georgina Robertson, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at her home in Woodstock, Georgia. She was born on October 17, 1952, in San Diego, California, to Beverly and George Taylor. Georgina’s life was a testament to love, strength, and enduring family bonds.
Throughout her 73 years, Georgina was a constant source of support and inspiration to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Preston, who she wed on November 22, 2010, in Cherokee County. Together, they shared countless beautiful moments that formed the foundation of a loving family legacy. Georgina's passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family and friends, yet her spirit will live on in the memories they cherish.
Georgina is survived by her four dedicated children: Sherry (Don), Gary (Ashley), Dennis (Amity), and Andy (Felicia). Each of them has been shaped by her unwavering love and guidance, which she freely offered throughout her life. She was also the proud grandmother to an incredible group of young people: Garrett, Jadie, Madison (Timmy), Cammy (Michael), Kendall, Andrew (Zoe), Marie, Trenton, Abby, Anthony, Colton, Wyndell, Zoelle, and Liam. Georgina’s legacy continues with her nine great-grandchildren, who were always a source of joy and laughter in her life.
A graduate of Forsyth High School, Georgina went on to dedicate her career to the field of shipping, serving as a supervisor at E.I.S. She found fulfillment in her work, demonstrating the same commitment and passion that she showed in all areas of her life.
Georgina was also an active member of the community. Recently, she became a valued member of Momentum Church, where she found solace and connection, particularly enjoying the time spent there with her granddaughter, Cammy. Georgina's faith was a significant part of her life, guiding her through challenges and enriching her spirit.
Known for her nurturing nature, Georgina was the rock of her family. She was the center of their world, always bringing everyone together, celebrating their joys, and comforting them in times of need. Her home was a haven of laughter, warmth, and unconditional love, where every family gathering was a cherished occasion.
A funeral service will be held in her honor at Momentum Church on October 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM. In this time of grief, the family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the extended family and friends who have provided support and love during this difficult period. Your kindness has meant the world to them.
