Gerald Glenn Bailey

Gerald Glenn Bailey, age 74, of Greers Ferry, Arkansas passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026. He was born on May 22, 1951 to the late Verlon and Pauline Bailey.

He was a loving husband, dad, and pops. He was a teacher and coach for 31 years, spending the majority of his career at his alma mater West Side Greers Ferry.

Each student he taught or coached likely knows his famous line "Life's about choices…", and the joy teaching brought him was immeasurable. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and working on his farm.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Verlon and Pauline Bailey, and his son-in-law Gary Branscum, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Wanda Bailey, his brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Nola Bailey, his children Bentley and Lynsey Bailey of Bonham, Texas and Kadie and Andrew Dunemn of Mountain View, Arkansas. 10 grandchildren Mary Beth, Lexi (Ryan), Skylar, Makinley, Parker, Sawyer. London, Rush, Lainey, and Lily. Gerald is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
