Michael Drew Smith

Michael Drew Smith, 54 years old, was born to M.D. Smith and Frances Bryant on April 21, 1971, and passed away February 17, 2026, of natural causes. Mike was a graduate of West Memphis Blue Devils and received a degree at Diesel mechanic school in Nashville, TN. Mike went on to follow in his brother's footsteps and became a flooring installer.

Sadly, mikes health started to decline at a early age in life which made things hard, but he continued the best he could and moved forward. Mike was a true Arkansas Razorbacks fan, (He loved to call the hogs). He was a nascar and spirit car fan Thru and thru, He enjoyed hunting, But Duck hunting was his passion, and he passed that love onto his boys.

Mike was proceeded in death by his father M.D. Smith, his mother Frances Bryant, Step Father Thomas Bryant, Two brothers Terry Smith and Kenny Smith, One Niece Jennifer Smith, One Stepbrother Jason Davis, and his grandparents Chester and Getrue Ward and William D. and Opal Smith.

Mike is survived by Both of his sons Jeffery Allen Smith, and Austin Layne Smith (Kristen), Two wonderful grandchildren Everleigh Smith and Nash Smith. He leaves behind his brother Ricky Smith (Carolyn) of Oran, MO., Sister Chris Harrison of Pahrump, NV., Sister Tonya Cordell (John) of Brighton, TN., Stepmother Roberta Smith of Brighton, TN, his nephews Robert Smith (Meagan), David Closs (Danialah) and Dylan Evans, Stephen Harrison, and Justin Young (Angie). He is also survived by his nieces Shea Dumey (Travis), Lisa Kinney (Cashus) , Sharee King, and Sommer Bryant and many other family members, friends and loved ones to cherish his memory.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Olmstead Funeral Home.
