Edward Wayne Isom

Edward Wayne Isom, age 81, of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas passed away in his daughter's home in Drasco, Arkansas surrounded by family and friends on December 30, 2025. Born on February 14, 1944 in Galveston Texas, he was the son of the late Betty Jean Baum.

Edward was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He worked for the Dr. Pepper Company for many years, which he loved doing. In his free time he would be in the tattoo shop helping or getting a new tattoo. He also loved riding his motorcycle until he could not do so anymore. He loved to sing and spread the gospel, and spend time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Jean Baum, his step-father Don Baum, grandfather Sammie Bird, grandmother (mother) Louise Bird, grandfather (father) Gerald Smith, and his daughter Jeannie Honea.

He is survived by his wife Stella Isom, his children Krystal Laster (Charles), Christopher Isom (Tonya), Edward Isom, Jr. (Andrea), Harold Rhames, Amanda (Tommy), son-in-law Michael Honea, his brother Marvin Pounders, his cousins William Vidor and Lulu Higgins, grandchildren Annabella Denton, Kyle Denton, Ira Rhodes, Christopher Isom, Tiffany Isom, and Edward Isom, III, great-grandchildren Aydin Isom, Eryian Gay, Dana Isom, Brandon Isom, Chrostopher Isom, and Violet Isom. Mr. Isom is also survived by his other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 in Finney's Sports Club with Jeff Chandler officiating.
