Jackson Melancon Obituary
August 18, 2013 – January 17, 2026
Jackson "Jack" Wyatt Melancon, age 12, of Rose Bud, Arkansas, gained his angel wings on January 17, 2026. Born on August 18, 2013, Jack brought joy, laughter, and light to everyone who knew him.
Jack loved the simple joys of life. He enjoyed riding horses, hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers with his little brother and friends. He cherished spending time with family and friends, especially playing games and making memories filled with laughter. Jack had a kind heart, a bright smile, and a loving spirit that will be remembered forever.
He was truly the best big brother to Jarret, and the two were inseparable-best friends in every sense of the word. Their bond was unbreakable and filled with love.
Jackson is survived by his loving mother, Nikki Melancon; sisters, Kodie Melancon, Kylie Melancon, and brother Jarret Melancon all of Rose Bud; Step Dad Wesley Leach and son Eli Leach, Mt Vernon and grandfather, Matthew Prince of Rose Bud; grandmother, Kristyn Hutson (Rich) of Vilonia; Aunts - Karlee Prince, Lesa Williams, Olivia Hutson, Uncles - Ryan Prince (Bailey) Eric Williams , Others that live out of state a long with many cousins, and friends who loved him dearly and will forever cherish his smile and the memories they shared.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joshua Cole Melancon.
Jack's life, though far too short, was full of love, adventure, and joy. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

You were, and forever will be, the best little brother I could ask for. You came into this life full of joy, chaos, and kindness. I never realized how much I would miss seeing you up and around, dancing and goofing off, until now. I know you and Dad are probably up there fishing and hunting together. I love you with all of my heart. I will always be grateful for the time we spent together, although that time was short.
