Jerry Broadfoot, 84, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at his home. He was under the care of Mission Home Health & Hospice in Idaho Falls.

He was an extraordinary man. He was a man of his word, honest, and ethical in all his dealings in life. He was a living example of Richard Maybury's two laws: "Do all you have agreed to do and do not encroach on other persons or their property."

During his life, he proudly protected American freedom by serving in the U.S. Army. After his tour of duty and honorable discharge, he spent the next 30 years as a heavy equipment operator and crew leader for the BLM. upon retiring, he developed and ran a small farm until his passing.

He leaves a legacy of big footprints that cannot be filled. He leaves a loving 2nd wife, Emma, three children, and their spouses: Rick (Glenna), Yolanda (Doug), and Robert from his first marriage, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous friends and associates.

He was greatly respected and loved by all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.

In lieu of services and flowers, if you are so inclined, a donation can be made on his behalf to ECKANKAR at P.O. Box 2000, Chanhassen, MN 55317-2000 or at 952-380-2200.

No services will be held. Cremation is under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.coltrinmortuary.com.
