Gerald "Jerry" Bernard Dallman
June 20, 1950 – September 15, 2025
Gerald "Jerry" Bernard Dallman, 75, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Gerald was born on June 20, 1950, to Bernard and Lorraine Dallman of Hatley, Wisconsin.
Jerry helped on the family dairy farm while living at home, cutting and baling hay, feeding the animals, and milking the cows. He loved muscle cars, country music, and he loved his hair. After graduating from Mosinee High School in 1968, Jerry went to NCTI, completed the training, and in 1969 became a Certified Welder. He spent the next 25 years as a welder, much of that time at Central Fab, had two children, Andy and Tracy, and always made time for his garden. He eventually retired and returned to the family farm.
Jerry lived a life filled with simple joys and hard work, and he especially loved deer hunting. Every year he anxiously waited for November, spending hours in the woods in search of just the right buck. Jerry proudly displayed several sets of deer antlers. Later in life he hung up his rifle and, surprisingly, would toss a few apples to the deer while splitting wood. He loved spending time outdoors, whether tending to his vegetable garden, splitting and stacking wood for the winter, or exploring the countryside on his three-wheeler. He found peace in watching the seasons change, pride in the vegetables he grew, and satisfaction in a neatly stacked woodpile. Friends and family will always remember his welcoming smile, his laugh, and the way he shared fresh produce from his garden with anyone who stopped by. He loved playing cards, with old country music always playing in the background, doing crosswords, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Jerry is preceded in death by his beloved son Andrew, his sister Sharon Kline, his parents Lorraine and Bernard, and brother in-law Mark Zblewski. He is survived by his daughter Tracy (Edgar) Arreola and grandchildren Cash and Sylas; daughter-in-law Rocio and grandchildren Anna and Mason; brothers Dale Dallman and Tom (Tammy) Dallman; sister Janice Zblewski; and cherished nieces and nephews Amy, Micaila, Christopher, Zack (Lila), Stephanie (Brendan), and Nick.
Jerry will be remembered for his humor, his subtle kindness, and the love he had for his grandchildren.
