James “Jim” J. Dallman, age 78, of Reedsville, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025 at his residence.
Jim was born on July 13, 1947, son of the late Emry & Ruth (Goldbeck) Dallman. He was a graduate of Reedsville High School, class of 1965. Jim owned and operated various taverns in Reedsville while also working at Tecumseh and as a handyman for a number of places. Jim could fix anything, and he was always helping people when he could. Jim was an avid trap shooter and was very talented at it. He belonged to the Reedsville Sportsman’s Club and would also shoot for other clubs in the area. He also was a member of the Reedsville Fire Department for a time. Jim enjoyed deer, rabbit, and pheasant hunting, snowmobiling in his younger years, and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his siblings: Carolyn Dallman-Kienbaum, Norma Dallman, and Bill (Carol) Dallman; one niece and nephews; his good friends: Donny and Ben; other relatives; and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and other relatives.
A Gathering of Friends will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Pielhop Funeral Home, 15 N. 7th St. in Reedsville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the gathering.
