Gerald Franklin Davis, 59, of Belton, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, following an ATV accident.

Gerald was born August 28, 1966, in Independence, Missouri to Morris and Lucretia (Brown) Davis. He is survived by: One son, Chantry and wife Alesya Davis of Albia, Iowa; a grandson, Noah Davis; significant other, Jayme Chan ; Brothers, Mike Turner and wife Susie of Jefferson City, Missouri and Russell Davis and wife Janet of California, Missouri; a sister, Vicki Anderson and husband Raymond of Clinton, Missouri; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Gerald was preceded in death by: His parents, Morris and Lucretia Davis; a brother, Wayne Davis, Jr.; a nephew, Michael Turner; Uncle Danny Davis, Uncle Doug Davis, Uncle Larry Davis; and grandparents, Richard and Mildred Bellefeuille.

Gerald grew up in Jefferson City and Russellville. He moved to Foley, Missouri and then in 2012 to Belton, Missouri where he worked for Coil Construction as a superintendent. Gerald loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going camping in the mountains. He was a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

A memorial service for Gerald will be held at a later date.
