Gerald DenHouten Obituary
Gerald was a graduate of Saranac High School, class of 1965. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War stationed in Korea. He married Susan M. Bennett on May 28, 1971, in Ionia.
Gerald enjoyed doing small engine repair and mowing his lawn.
Surviving Gerald is his loving wife of 53 years Susan M DenHouten of Ionia; children Debbie Caldron of Lake Odessa, Tammy Husted of Ionia, Todd (Jennifer) DenHouten of Ionia and Jamie (Marti) DenHouten of Manistee; grandchildren Katie DenHouten, Cody DenHouten and Fiancé Mallory Moore, Baily DenHouten and Fiancé Leah Cantu, Dennis Husted, Hunter DenHouten, Megan, Drew and Alicia; great grandchild Sophia DenHouten; and many more. Sister Diane Garvey of Trufant and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at Balcom Cemetery on Saturday, June 15th at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mark Hall officiating. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Ionia. Online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com
