Uxbridge- Gerald L. "Jerry" Duda, 67, of Aldrich St. passed away on Monday August 26, 2024 at Milford Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Donna J. (Nelson) Duda; a brother Daniel B. Duda of Whitinsville; 2 sisters Laurie J. Rivard of Douglas and Janet S. Paquette of Uxbridge; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother Eric C. Duda.
Born in Whitinsville on May 14, 1957, he was the son of the late Leon and Audrey M. (Coombs) Duda. He was raised in Northbridge and lived in Uxbridge 25 years.
Jerry worked as a kitchen remodeler for Home Depot and previously Sears for 20 years, retiring in 2022. A 3rd generation firefighter, he served the Town of Northbridge as a Call Firefighter and EMT since his youth, retiring in 2011.
