(Jerry ) to friends and family, was born on June 4, 1947 in New York City. Jerry was the first born of Eleanor Estwick. Jerry lived most of his life in NYC. He attended Church of the Resurrection Elementary School in Manhattan and graduated from Bronx Vocational High School. A veteran of the United States Army, Jerry served his country in Vietnam. After discharge from the Army, Jerry went to work as a draftsman at Western Electric, the arm of the telephone company that tested everything that the phone company bought and or used. Jerry retired from Verizon in 1999 and in 2010 he moved with his wife, Joan, to Aynor, South Carolina. Jerry met his wife in the neighborhood in which they both lived. After dating for several years, they married and had two children, Gerald Joseph and JhaNette Michelle.
