Gerald E. Faler Sr. Who was known as Jerry went to be with Lord on October 13,2025. Jerry was born on October 9, 1931 in Nebraska City, Nebraska the second oldest of five children.
During his youth the family moved to Southern California where Jerry would spend much of his childhood. Following graduation from Garden Grove High School, he would join the United States Air Force and served during the Korea War and was stationed in Japan and Victoria TX for the duration of the Korean War. Ever patriotic for the United States he would always speak fondly of his service for his country. Also, during this time he met the love of his life, Dolores, whom he married and soon had a family while living in California and later moving to Houston, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores, survived by his three sons and two daughters Gerald Jr (Kerry), Robin (Clyde), Darrell (Debbie), Bryan (Sandy), and Tammy (Keith); and also John Harrington. He also is survived by 13 grandchildren, Joseph Faler (Katie), Mary Faler (Dano),Peter Faler, Clyde Daniel (Katya), Tia Daniel (James), Louis Krolczyk (Amber), Michelle Vertucci (Steve), Eric Faler (Kaitlyn), Aubrey Heki (Daniel), Laura Faler, Travis Faler, Ashley Karnoski, and Brandon Karnoski; and 14 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, October, 16, at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Dr. Houston, Texas.
