Jerry graduated from Martin Luther Academy for the Gifted (St. Petersburg, Florida) in 1985. He worked in the construction industry.
He will be remembered for his playful sense of humor and steadfast willingness to help the people around him.
Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Reine Hemelright.
He is survived by his father, Kenneth Handley; sisters, Susan (Gus) Lorenzo-Luaces, Dawn (Rick) Herbert, Wendy Handley, and Anne (Chris) Smoot; nieces, Desireé Handley, and Camie Herbert; nephews, Max Herbert, and Gussie Lorenzo-Luaces; and a great-niece.
No public services will be held
