Gerald "Jerry" Ray King, son of Ralph Howard King and Peggy Twilight Cochran King, was born, August 29, 1946 in Pittsburg, Kansas. He departed this life, August 29, 2025, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri. At the time of his passing, Jerry was seventy-nine years of age. On June 10, 1965 in Girard, Kansas he was united in marriage to Carolyn Smith. Following Carolyn's passing, Jerry was united in marriage to Pamela Sue Mummert on October 7, https://2000.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Peggy King; wife, Carolyn (Smith) King; son, Richard Lee King; and siblings Bill and Judith King. He is survived by his wife, Pamela King; children, Richie & Janet Elliott, Eric and Sarah Faes, Stephen & Mandy Faes; grandchildren, Tucker Elliott, Tori Gladden, Isabell, Olivia, Alyssa, & Madison Faes; siblings, Donald & Kathy King, Philip & Debbie Mummert, Mary & Walter Podraza; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Jerry was born and raised in Pittsburg, Kansas. Following his graduation from high school, Jerry enlisted in the United States Navy, where he proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in 1964. Throughout his working years he worked for various companies in the printing press industry; such as Deluxe Check Printers and Web Press Manager. He was also a member of the 1965-66 Full Size Chevy Car Club, receiving many trophies while attending car shows. Jerry made a profession of faith and was a member of St. Anthony's Church in Camdenton, Missouri. In his spare time Jerry enjoyed numerous hobbies; such as digitizing and embroidering, classic cars, camping, boating in Florida & The Lake of the Ozarks. Jerry loved people and made friends wherever he went. He was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to Community Christian Church as well as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and left at the funeral home.
