Gerald Richard Kuhn, 73, of Bridgman passed away on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026.
Gerald was born Aug. 24, 1952, in South Haven, the son of the late Lester and Marian (Richards) Kuhn. Gerald enjoyed a 40-year career in the nuclear industry, at D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant and The San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. He enjoyed sports, including watching his sons play, and any team from Detroit, especially the Tigers. He was an avid fisherman and golfer, and a legendary soup maker. When he couldn't get out to the lake, he'd often be tying flies to give to other fisherman, the only payment he required was a fishing story or a photo if the lure was successful.
Gerald is survived by two sons: Brady Kuhn and Corey (Katharine) Kuhn and their children: Libby, Ellie and Jack.
Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gedeon-Kuhn, his son, Andrew Kuhn, and his brothers: Donald Kuhn and Michael Kuhn.
A private family graveside service has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Linda Gedeon-Kuhn Memorial Scholarship. Checks should be made payable to Bridgman Public Schools and mailed to Bridgman Public Schools, 9964 Gast Road, Bridgman, MI 49106.
Arrangements entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel. 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman MI 49106.
