Gerald "Pappy" Ray Lawson, 65, of Booneville, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, October 11, 2025. He was born March 12, 1960, in Torrance, California.

He was a former engineer at Boeing and attended Lakeview Pentecostal Church as well as Booneville First United Pentecostal Church. He participated in the Boy Scouts, Booneville Little League Baseball, and was also involved with the Booneville Bearcat Basketball team.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Chrissy Lynn Lawson; parents, Robert and Mattie Lawson; and brother, Hershel Lawson.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Booneville First United Pentecostal Church, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday at Roberts Memorial Chapel.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 44 years, Christine Lawson of the home; sons, Gerald Leroy Kramer Jr. of Colorado, Jason Paul Lawson (Joanna) of Booneville, Arkansas, Shawn Buffington (Crystal) of Greenwood, Arkansas, Jamie Ray Lawson (Ashleigh) of Booneville, Arkansas, and Travis William Lawson (Alexx) of Booneville, Arkansas; daughters, Judith J. DeOllos of Nebraska, Kristian Sullivan of Paris, Arkansas, Shayeleigh Sullivan of Booneville, Arkansas, and Aspen Nicole Sullivan of Booneville, Arkansas; sisters, Donna Schmidt of Oregon and Deena J. Sullivan; brother, John William Sullivan; grandchildren, Camryn Lawson, Isabella Lawson, Jamie Ray Lawson, Kaitlynn Rose Kramer, Magnolia Lawson, Aine Lawson, and Sissy Lawson

Pallbearers: Noah Reyes, Gavin Vance, Mason Weaver, Tyler Hall, Camryn Lawson, Shawn Buffington, and Ian Suttles
