Gerald Alan Lemberg age 81, passed away in Aurora, Colorado on May 25, 2024. “Jerry” as he was lovingly referred to, was born on January 2, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Miami, Florida. He loved to learn, earning a Master’s Degree after attending Tulane University as well as the University of Miami. He also loved writing, and created a monthly blog for many years, mostly pertaining to politics. He was an avid reader, enjoying all genres of books.
Jerry taught History at the college level in Florida. He enjoyed watching all sports, the Miami Hurricanes and the Denver Broncos in particular. He most enjoyed spending time with his family enjoying a meal or watching a game. He was a kind and loving soul who was encouraging to and made friends with everyone he met.
He is survived by his three children: Tracy Alford and husband Andre of Aurora, Co, Ben Lemberg and wife Dee of Aurora, Co, Adam Lemberg and wife Keshet of Fairfax, VA, his 6 grandchildren: Jaiden Alford, Joshua Alford, and Elan Lemberg, of Aurora, Co, Gabriel Lemberg, Lailie Lemberg and Cecilia Lemberg, of Fairfax, VA and his sister, Laura Bott and husband Howard of Portland, OR, and 3 nephews David Bott and wife Natasha of New York, NY, Steven Bott of Los Angeles, CA and Jack Bott of Portland, OR.
Jerry is loved deeply and will be missed greatly by family and friends alike.
