Gerald LeMoine Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society - Schofield on Dec. 16, 2025.
Gerald Lloyd LeMoine, of Wausau, passed away on December 9, 2025. He was born on August 18, 1951, to the late Clarence and Dorothy (Brown) LeMoine.
On October 13, 1973, Gerald married the love of his life, Judith (Kraimer), at Saint Matthew's Church. Together, they shared more than 50 wonderful years of marriage.
Gerald is survived by his children Jennifer (Steve) Radtke, Frank Ferlitsch, and LaDonna (Nick Tress) Inman; his beloved fur baby Lindy; his grandchildren Heaven Drobnick, Kaden Radtke, Hunter Radtke, Alexis Radtke, Owen Inman, and Cataleya Tress; and his great-grandchildren Remington Radtke and Adaline Radtke. He is also survived by his cousins Richard (Jackie) Brown, William (Karen) Brown, Barbie (Tom) Csmarich, Peter LeMoine, Donald LeMoine, and Chris LeMoine.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy, who passed on February 9, 2024, as well as his parents, Clarence and Dorothy LeMoine.
Gerald had a heart of gold and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He worked throughout his life at Marriott, Wausau Homes, and Fleet Farm in Wausau, forming friendships wherever he went.
Deeply involved in his community, he served the Salvation Army-from ringing bells to sitting on the board-and dedicated 17 years as an EMT for the Town of Texas. He also served as the Town Constable. Gerald enjoyed driving school bus for First Student and proudly supported the Wausau Cyclones Hockey Team as their traveling EMT. He obtained Eagle Scout status as a young boy and later became a Boy Scout Leader for many years and enjoyed mentoring the youth.
Over the passed years Judith and Gerald opened their home and hearts to over 20 foster children.
An avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast, Gerald was passionate about skeet and trap shooting. He loved ice fishing and spent countless days at Lake of the Woods, as well as on Lake Michigan aboard his big-game boat, making cherished memories with family and friends. He never missed his daily breakfast with his beloved Red Apple Group.
Gerald was a man of great heart and deep devotion-steadfast in love, generous in spirit, and dedicated to those around him. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of life will be held in the Spring/Summer of 2026.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help cover unexpected funeral expenses. A fundraiser has been set up at the link below. Your support is appreciated! https://everloved.com/life-of/gerald-lemoine/memories/
