Gerald K. Madsen a resident of Warner passed away Saturday, November 30th, 2024 in Muskogee at the age of 95. He was born July 28, 1929, in Horton, Kansas to Sophus Madsen and Bessie (Humphries) Madsen.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving proudly with the United States Marines. He married Louise Jones on June 6, 1957. He was a truck driver and farmer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Arkansas where he also attended the Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Louise Madsen, November 12, 2004, granddaughter, Joy Noel Ullery, brothers, Tom, Jim, Carroll, & Gayle Madsen, sisters, Betty, Shirley, Martha & Sandra, brothers-in-law, Frank & Coy Jones, also a sister-in-law, Imogene Whitlock.
He is survived by a daughter, Nancy Madsen of Amarillo, Texas; son, Lee Madsen of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandson, Robert Ullery of Texas; granddaughter, Carla "Tami" Morquecho of Texas; grand grandson, Weldon McCandless; great great grandchildren, Hayden, July, & Clovis McCandless; brother, Wayne Madsen of Indiana; sister, Linda Goins of Roswell, New Mexico; sisters-in-law, Virginia Barton & Yvonne McLaughlin of Henryetta; brother-in-law, Ray Jones of Porum—also many nieces and nephews, friends, and other relatives.
Viewing for Gerald will be on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Integrity Chapel with Rev. David Shahan officiating. The interment will be at South Park Cemetery in Roswell, New Mexico. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
