Gerald William Pavolini

 

Gerald William Pavolini (also known as, Papa G, Dad, Skipper, War Horse, Pavi, G-Joe, Kamikaze Kid), age 67, of Pass Christian, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023. All who knew him loved him. He lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. 

Gerald was born on October 17, 1956 in Gulfport and was a lifelong resident of Pass Christian. He was a retired commercial fisherman and also a former fireman at Pass Christian Fire Department.

Pass Christian will never be the same as he touched so many lives. Gerald spent his life doing what he loved, his passion being fishing and being on the water. Whether one will miss seeing him on his golf cart or patrolling the harbor, there’s no single word that can describe his incredible character. His memory will live forever in the hearts of all who loved him. 

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Wilford Pavolini and Effie Tillman Pavolini.

Survivors include his daughters, Kasey Pickich (Ryan), Kori Hilton (Hal), Hannah Pavolini, Mitsy Quinlivan (Matt), and Heather Patterson (Will); brother, Donnie Pavolini; 14 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. Friends may visit one-hour prior to service. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Pavolini family.
