Daniel Ortiz Obituary
Born in Hattiesburg, MS he was raised in Gulf Port before moving to Plymouth, Michigan where he met his wife, Holly and began his studies in medical school.
Dr. Ortiz received his medical degree from Michigan State and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
He practiced in Scottsboro, AL for over 25 years before moving to Collegedale
6 years ago.
He was an avid member of the Chattanooga Yacht Club.
Dr. Ortiz was preceded in death by his son, Tyler Ortiz.
He is survived by his wife, Holly Ortiz; son, Nathaniel Ortiz; mother, Patti Parker; sister, Margo (Marc) Goodwin; brother, Mark (Patty) Ortiz; as well as nieces & nephews.
