Of Blasdell, entered into rest on October 11, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Anna (nee DiPronio) Reeves; devoted father of Andrew (Cheryl) Reeves and Nicole (Jason) Reeves; cherished grandfather of Zaynab, Tatiyanna and Nicholai; adored great-grandfather of Layla; dear son of the late Andrew (Dorothy) Reeves and the late Bertha Novick; dear brother of Andrea (Joseph) Linszky, Thomas (Wendy) Novick and the late Michael (Norma) Novick. Gerald was a U.S. Army Veteran, a Buffalo Public School Teacher for 28 years and worked at Bethlehem Steel for 16 years. He was also a proud member of the Matthew Glab Post 53 and a lifetime member of VFW 898. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Wednesday (October 14) from 1-8 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Buffalo. Online condolences may be offered at www.lombardofuneralhome.com
