Gerald M. Richardson Jr., age 41, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the best friend and cherished husband of Tiana D. (Tefft) Richardson to whom he shared 20 years of marriage. Born in Queens, NY, he was a son of Gerald M. Richardson Sr. and the late Camille (Werts) Ivery.

A longtime professional cook, Gerald loved working in the kitchen at home too where he was known for his Baked Macaroni and Cheese. When he wasn't working or cooking, he enjoyed gaming, photography and watching movies. Always the impeccable dresser, Gerald made sure to show up to every event matched from head to toe. He loved being the life of the party and making everyone around him laugh. Above all else, Gerald was a family man who loved nothing more than to talk about how much he loved his wife and children. He is missed tremendously by all those who knew and loved him.

Gerald was the devoted father of Xzavier Richardson, Ryder Richardson and Serenity Richardson and the big brother of Marcellous Collins, Nia Imani-Richardson, Sayvon Richardson, Wakeem Ivery and Shakeel Ivery. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss his presence.

At the request of the family, his services will be private.
