Gerald R. Robideau, 96, of Cobleskill, New York died Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Born on July 13, 1928, in Johnson City, NY, he was the son of Raymond J. Robideau and Eva M. Nichols Robideau.
Gerald was an area manager for Agway in Syracuse for over 35 years.
He was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul's Catholic Church.
Gerald was a member of the Cobleskill Rotary. One of his greatest joys was his family.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Helen Sill Robideau on October 26, 1996. His grandson, Sean Brownell and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Robideau also predeceased him.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Olive P. Scott of Cobleskill, NY; daughter, Marilyn Brownell of Vestal, NY; sons, Robert Robideau and Corrine of Webster, NY, Donald Robideau and Linda of Arlington Height, IL, Thomas Robideau of Essex, VT, David Robideau and Ann of Essex, VT; stepson, Danny Scott and Kristin; 12 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 10:00-11:00am at St. Vincent de Paul's Catholic Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill, NY with the celebration of the Mass of Christian burial following at 11:00am at the church. Burial will take place privately in the spring at Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
The family wish to extend a sincere Thank you to Helios Care of Oneonta for all their help and support.
