He is survived by his four children; Judith Runge, Gerald Runge, II, Janette (Charles "Bob") Wilderspin, Jill Runge; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a brother, Dennis Runge; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Runge, and two brothers, Richard Runge and Earl Runge.
A memorial service will be held 6:30 P.M. Monday, June 2, 2025, at Moss Family Funeral Homes, St. Charles, 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL. Visitation will be held at 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
