Gerald "Jerry" L. Schultz, 69, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. He was born November 1, 1955, in Port Clinton, OH, to Virgil and Vera (Avery) Schultz.
Jerry graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1973 and went on to earn his real estate license. A lifelong farmer, he began working the family farm at the age of 13 and continued farming throughout his life. In addition to his work in agriculture, Jerry was a dedicated realtor. He worked for Batdorf Realty for several years before eventually taking ownership of the business alongside his partner and co-owner, Chad Brough.
On August 1, 1997, in Rocky Ridge, OH, Jerry married the love of his life, Jean A. Wehner. They shared many happy years together until her passing on July 25, 2024.
Jerry was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rocky Ridge. He enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley, playing cards with friends, watching the Jackson Car Auction, and attending his grandchildren's sporting events, which brought him great joy.
