Gerald Stellenberg Obituary
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jerry was the youngest of two children born to the late Gerald L. Stellenberg Sr. and Sarah E. (Foley) Gordon.
Jerry was a kind and gentle soul with a generous heart who always put others before himself. He was the person everyone called when something needed fixing, and without hesitation, he would drop everything to lend a hand. Mechanically inclined and endlessly resourceful, there were few projects he couldn't tackle. Whether repairing an engine, boat, troubleshooting a household issue, or helping a friend in need, Jerry found joy in being useful and making life a little easier for those around him.
More than his skills, it was his warmth and steady presence that defined him. He was a devoted father, a caring brother, cousin and uncle, and a loyal friend to many. He had a quiet strength and an easy smile that made others feel comfortable and supported. To know Jerry was to know someone dependable, thoughtful, and genuine.
He is survived by his beloved son, Dylan Stellenberg; his sister, Sherrie Stellenberg; cousins and many extended family members and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 2-3pm in Phenix Baptist Church, 2 Fairview Ave., West Warwick, RI 02893.
Jerry will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know and love him.
