Of West Seneca, peacefully passed away on February 2, 2026. He is survived by Louise (née) Schwab, the love of his life for over 58 years, and his daughters Deborah (Paul) Eiden, Kimberly (Jim) McClure and Kristen (James) Johns. He was an adored Pappa to his grandchildren Kathryn (Ray) Sullivan, Timothy (Brianna) McClure, Allison (Nate) Woodruff, Kaylie and Matthew Eiden, Devin, Aiden, and Addison Johns, and his precious great-grandchildren, Emmett Sullivan and Emma McClure; also survived by family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Friday (February 13th) from 2-6 PM, where a Prayer Service will immediately follow. An Inurnment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Spring. Born April 2,1941 to Alvin and Dorothy Warren and pre-deceased by his sister Nancy (Kamm), Jerry graduated from Orchard Park High School in 1959. He was very proud of his military service, beginning in 1959 as a weatherman and plank owner on the Navy aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk. He was founder of the Ship's store and Treasurer of the Kitty Hawk Veterans Association. In 1965 he began a 26 year career in law enforcement as a New York State Trooper and instructor at the State Police Academy. While working and raising a family, Jerry received a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Buffalo. His service to others continued with 32 years as both active duty & reserve in the United States Air Force at the Niagara Falls Air Base, where he began in the parachute shop and ultimately retired in 2001 as the Law Office Manager JAG, and with the highest civilian rank of Master Sergeant. His legacy of friendship, humor, service, and love of family will be treasured and carried on always.
