Geraldine C. Armstrong, aged 96, tragically passed away on November 6, 2025. Born on March 25, 1929, she embodied a spirit of kindness, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community.
Geraldine devoted much of her life to her passions, which included tennis, crochet, embroidery, and gardening. Her love for creating beauty extended beyond her garden, as she also served as a dedicated volunteer with CHAOS and at her local nursery. Her nurturing spirit touched the lives of many, fostering connections and friendships that will forever be cherished.
She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly. Geraldine is survived by her devoted children: Patricia, Phillip, and David Armstrong. She was equally proud of her grandchildren, Kristi Begley, Jeffery Armstrong, and Joseph Armstrong, along with their respective spouses, Jason Begely and Kristin Armstrong. Her family also includes the many nieces and nephews from the Sohn and Armstrong clans.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Joseph Sr. and Goldie Sohn, and her siblings: Joseph Sohn Jr., Eugene Sohn, Phillip Sohn, Raymond Sohn, and Esther Saldivar. Geraldine was also preceded by her beloved husband, James C. Armstrong, and her cherished fur babies, Pepper, Duke, and Coco.
As we remember Geraldine, we honor her remarkable contributions to her family and community, as well as the love she shared so freely. Her faith, resilience, and warmth will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
