Geraldine Braddock Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Collins Funeral Home - Norwalk on Feb. 28, 2026.
Geraldine "Geri" Braddock, 69, born April 17, 1956, wife of William "Bill" Braddock, was a devoted wife, loving mother and adoring grandmother. She passed away peacefully at Yale New Haven Hospital, after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, surrounded by her family. Geri was the daughter of the late Franklin and Loretta Santo.

Geri attended Central Catholic High School where she met her husband, Bill. They were married after high school and created a beautiful family of 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Geri was a stay-at-home mom for a while and made a wonderful home for her family. Geri and Bill went on to own two successful businesses in Norwalk. She was the program director at Carousel Preschool Day Nursery for many years. Geri worked at Cranbury Chiropractic as the Office Manager and Insurance Specialist for the last twenty-five years. In her spare time, Geri looked forward to spending summer vacations in Wildwood, NJ with her family. She was often found at her grandchildren's softball, baseball and soccer games and at their swim meets, cheering them on from the sidelines.
Geri is lovingly survived by her spouse, William Braddock, and daughters Kelly, Melissa and Lori Braddock. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, whom she adored: Caitlyn, James, Ashton, Callie and Ryder, her sister Joyce Abate, sister-in-law Karen Santo and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. Geri was pre-deceased by her brother, Frank Santo, and brothers-in-law Robert Abate and Jamison Braddock.
Calling hours will be held for all family and friends on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
