Grace Lee Braddock , age 96 of Columbia, was born on November 2, 1929, in Indiana to the union of her loving parents, Willard Atteberry and Hazel Dailey Atteberry and she passed from this life on February 25, 2026, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin Braddock; her daughter, Yvonne Ross; her sister, Lillian Page; and her brothers: Bobby, Donald and Frankie Atteberry. She worked at J. C. Penney for some forty-five years. She wore many hats during her time there. She was loved by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Melvin Braddock of Columbia; her sister, Mary Lou Wilson; two grandchildren, Daidre Duke and Shayne Ross; and her great-grandchildren: Jacob Ross, Ethan Ross, Alyssa Boulton and Joshua Boulton.
Services are presently incomplete but will be announced later this week.
