Geraldine K. Dilts, 76, of Wittenberg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 25, 2025, at her home.

Geraldine was born on May 6, 1949, in Shawano. The daughter of Stanley and Elizabeth (Lehman) Miller.

Geraldine was united in marriage to David Schmidt, they later divorced. In 1996, Geraldine married Lane Dilts, he preceded her in death.

Geraldine worked in Iowa in food service at a nursing home for many years. She liked listening to country and polka music. Geraldine had a love for animals, especially dogs. She enjoyed writing letters to her family members.

Geraldine is survived by one daughter, Cherri (Jared) Hughes; grandson, Jonah (Amanda) Koresh; siblings, Bernard (Carol) Miller, Betty (Raymond) Bembenek, Russell Miller and Joan Miller and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Geraldine was preceded in death by parents; husband, Lane; former husband, David; brother and sister-in-law, Marlene Miller and Donald Nicholson.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 2 PM until 4 PM at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg.
