Geraldine Freeman Obituary

FREEMAN, Geraldine, of Richmond, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2011. She was born February 12, 1945 and was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Sr. and Arlene Freeman. She is survived by her brother, Lawrence (Ella); a host of other relatives and friends. Geraldine was a longtime employee of the City of Richmond Public School System. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2011, 1 p.m. at the William Byrd Apartments, 2501 W. Broad Street.

I was truly saddened when I read about the death of Geraldine. She participated in our last class reunion - Armstrong Class of 1963. I remember her beautiful smile and words of encouragement as we shared during our meetings.
