Geraldine Lindsey Obituary

GERALDINE ANN LINDSEY It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Geraldine Ann Lindsey, 86, of International Falls, Minnesota on August 28, 2025 surrounded by family. Jerri was born November 13, 1938 in International Falls. She was married to her loving husband, Patrick Lindsey in August 1959. Jerri was a long time maintenance secretary at Boise Cascade. After retiring, her and Pat spent summers at their cabin on Rainy Lake and wintered in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. She returned to International Falls in 2022. Jerri was always a presence in the room, bringing her infectious laughter, playfulness and sassy self into interactions with most everyone she met. She truly wanted the best for everyone, especially when it came to her love language of feeding others. Her spunkiness and humor will be greatly missed but will always live on in the many stories, gut busting jokes, and precious memories she left with us. We feel at peace knowing that she was able to reunite with the true love of her life and that they both are now together and watching over the rest of us. She is survived by her daughters, Patrice (Scott) Crane and Katherine (David) Lindsey; grandchildren, Alicia, Lindsey, Brianne, and Michael; sisters, Paula Forpahl and son Derek, and Linda (Dan) Vellieux and sons, Joel and Chad. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick who passed away in February 2020; father and mother, Lawrence and Anne Rasmussen. A private family memorial will be held to celebrate her life. If so desired, condolences may be sent to 1406 Hwy. 71, #307, International Falls, MN 56649.

So very sorry for the loss of Jerry. I did her hair for a long time before she and Pat left for Florida. She made me laugh and was so kind and grateful. She was one of a kind.
