Geraldine E. (McCafferty) Moser

Geraldine E. "Gerry" Moser, 97, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Born on April 4, 1927, in Allentown, PA. She was the daughter of the late Mathilda (Grow) and John McCafferty. She was the loving wife of the late Harvey E. Moser.

Gerry graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School and Sacred Heart School of Nursing. She dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse at Holy Family Manor and various physicians' offices. After retiring, Gerry continued to serve as a volunteer for many years at Holy Family Manor. She was a dedicated and proud parishioner of Saints Simon and Jude Church where she was a member of their senior group.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Suzanne Connell and her husband, James M. Connell, Sr. and Audrey Muthard and her husband, Morris Muthard; grandchildren, Jamie Connell (Angela), Stephanie Slegel (Brad), Lisa Vuchak, John Connell (Mary), Chris Vuchak, Brian Muthard and Joseph Connell (Erin) and great-grandchildren, Sophie, Evan, Caden, Brayden, James, Avery, Jack, and Carter. Gerry was preceded in death by her brothers and a sister.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing will also be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 9-10:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Saints Simon and Jude Church, 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Whitehall.
