Geraldine "Nan" Parshley

Rollinsford – Geraldine Parshley (Nan), peacefully passed away on June 7, 2024, at her home. Born in Dover NH on November 11, 1931, she was the daughter of George and Mary Jane Beard. Nan graduated from Farmington High School in 1949. She worked at General Electric, retiring in 1989.
Gardening, crafts, and reading were some of Nan's favorite pastimes. However, nothing made her smile more than time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be missed by her daughters Karen Hernandez and husband Daniel, and daughter, Lyn Phinney. Grandchildren, Kimberly Lee and husband Ben, Kevin Phinney and Matt Phinney and wife Danielle.
Then there are her precious great grandchildren Bennett Lee, Maddie and Charlotte Phinney.
Nan was predeceased by her parents, husband Frank and son-in-law Kenny.
There are many people that made it possible for Nan to remain in her home. Neighbors John and Diane watched out for her for many years. Their help, especially during the winter months, made it possible for her to stay at home.
Hospice angels Kate and Erin. These ladies kept Nan comfortable and smiling right to the end. The family was so lucky to have Nan under their care.
Jen at Home Instead helped the family through every detail of the Home Care process. Her kindness and compassion were invaluable.
And Tammy's Sunday visits were such a joy to Nan. Long conversations as well as flowers and goodies were something Nan looked forward to each week.
The family will have a gathering to celebrate Nan at a later date.
