Geraldine was my childhood art teacher. She is a huge reason for why I ended in studying Fine Art in college and have continued to be creative to this day. It was always such a wonderful day when o received a little note from her in the mail. Always so intentional and kind.
As I celebrate her life this week, I have been feeling like I needed to create something to honor and remember her. Her hats were always such iconic parts of her style, so it seemed fitting to celebrate her fashion. I hope you enjoy this sketch created in her memory.

Rosemary, Joel, Tim and families, we are so sorry for your loss! Please know you are in our prayers. We are so thankful that we had the opportunity to see your mom and talk with her at the reunion this summer! We remember that your mom and dad would often come and take us to church with them when Mom was not able to go. And, of course, we remember your mom and her hats!
